I am able to help with all things breastfeeding including:
Sore nipples; re-lactating; getting off of formula and back to breastfeeding; weaning off of a nipple shield; breastfeeding during the early weeks; over supply vs. under supply; plugged ducts; mastitis; thrush; weaning; pumping; returning to work; night time challenges; premature babies and multiples.
I can also examine your baby’s mouth for tongue and lip ties, and make recommendations if treatment is necessary.
Offering Lactation Services in San Diego, I've had the honor of helping hundreds of couples to have a beautiful, love-filled breastfeeding experience with their babies.

I've been in the business of babies since 2000, but it all actually started with the birth of my son in 1996.
After becoming a single mom when my son was an infant, I realized that I needed a second income, but one that had flexible hours, and where I could have my son with me. I became a Bradley Childbirth Educator, and welcomed thousands of beautiful babies into the World!
From 2000 until 2016 I worked as a birth and postpartum doula, and I had the honor of attending 380 births! I say that I am "semi-retired" from the doula work, mostly because if I get up at 2am, it's only because I have to go to the bathroom, NOT because someone is in labor.
I started working for Scripps Health in 2013 as a Perinatal Educator, where I continue my love of working with couples and new families through perinatal classes, and facilitating breastfeeding support groups throughout San Diego County.
As a lactation consultant, I continue to have the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! I get the very special privilege of helping families grow and thrive everyday, providing lactation services in San Diego.
When I'm not working with new families, I enjoy traveling (both the domestic and international kind), knitting, reading, cooking and learning new tricks with my InstaPot, brewing craft beer and spirits, and spending time with my boyfriend "The Brit," my 21-yr old "Man Cub" and my two furry pug babies, Finn and Molly.
Thank you for allowing me to share in this very special, intimate time in your life! I honor the time we spend together, and I look forward to meeting you and your beautiful family very soon!
